On Monday The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced their concert lineup, and as usual it's stacked with mainstream talent.

The 2017 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will take place March 7-26 at Houston’s NRG Park, country acts set to take the stage include: Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Chris Young, Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Thomas Rhett, Willie Nelson and more.

But we'd be lying if we said we weren't most happy to see one particular "under dog" kicking the series off on March 7th. Congrats to you Honky Tonk Kid.
