Annual Braun Brothers Reunion Returns to Idaho in August

Willy and Cody Braun of Reckless Kelly, and Micky and Gary Braun of Micky and the Motorcars will be heading home to the Great Northwest in August for their annual Reunion; and they’re taking Texas with ’em.

The Braun Brothers Reunion kicks off Thursday August 11th in picturesque Challis, Idaho. And in addition to the who’s who of Texas and Red Dirt bands, the guys will also bring acts from Canada, California, MIssissippi, and more.

The three day festival will feature performance from: American Aquarium, Wade Bowen, Micky And The Motorcars, William Clark Green, Sunny Sweeney, Jason Eady, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Corb Lund, Turnpike Troubadours, Braun Family, Shinyribs, Cody Canada and the Departed, Reckless Kelly.

The festival was founded by Muzzie and Joann Braun and they’ve worked to keep a high standard of music quality, and that “homey” feeling.

“We are really proud to put on the festival,” says Cody Braun, of Reckless Kelly. “My parents are pretty adamant at keeping it local and family friendly.”
