Wade Bowen is a Texas Music stalwart and one its premiere talents. But over the last year-and-a-half, in particular, the Waco native has been especially tearing up the roads and the radio.

Bowen closed out 2014 with nice three week run at No. 1 with “When I Woke Up Today.” In January 2015 he made his national television debut on Conan. On April 20 of the same year he and his buddy Randy Rogers released their collaborative album, Hold My Beer: Vol. 1, to critical and fan acclaim.

The guys have subsequently released three singles from the project "Standards," "Ladybug," both reaching No.1, and the third "Till it Does" is a week or two out from the top spot.

All while still getting those solo No. 1's, most recently "Sun Shines on a Dreamer. This all in addition to recording and releasing a Gospel album, Then My Sings My Soul…Songs For My Mother."

Bowen is back at Cowboy’s on Friday, get your tickets now here. And before the show he'll be stopping by to perform for a few of our lucky listeners with a light dinner catered by Coach's Sportsbar. Keep an eye on our Facebook page, and an ear on 101.5 KNUE for your chance to score an invite.
