The legendary Jerry Reed was an American country music singer and actor. Appearing in more than a dozen films, and recording a slew of hit songs.

His music library included: “U.S. Male”, “A Thing Called Love”, “Alabama Wild Man”, “Amos Moses”, “When You’re Hot, You’re Hot,” “Lord, Mr. Ford”, “East Bound and Down” (the Smokey and the Bandit theme song), “The Bird”, and “She Got the Goldmine (I Got the Shaft)”.

Reed was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 20th, 1937. He died in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 1, 2008.
