Kacey Musgraves and her fiance Ruston Kelly will be contributing to a brand new Johnny Cash album, Johnny Cash Forever Words: The Music.

This week the power couple sang  the song, “To June, This Morning,” a poem Cash wrote to June Carter Cash in 1970. Musgraves shared video of their recent performance at Tennessee’s Blackberry Farm.

Last night @rustonkelly + I sang "To June, This Morning" - an actual poem Johnny Cash wrote in 1970 that we put to music. (It'll be on the upcoming 'Forever Words' project that will feature many different amazing artists).

In a Rolling Stone interview John Carter Cash confirmed news of the album. Additionally Brad Paisley, the late Chris Cornell, Jamey Johnson, Jewel, T Bone Burnett and Dailey & Vincent will also be featured forthcoming project. No release date has been shared yet.
