Texas Music has a new Lubbock-based band on the verge of big things. Flatland Cavalry's debut album Humble Folks is turning heads across the Lone Star State.

The band's front man and chief songwriter, Cleto (pronounced like meadow) Cordero, moved to Lubbock from Midland to follow in the footsteps of other Texas greats including: Pat Green, Josh Abbott and William Clark Green - and so far, so good for one of Texas Music's most humble folks.

Flatland Cavalry was just added to JABFest '16 lineup which will take place in Lubbock this October, and their single "One I Want" is impacting radio now.
