Natalie’s Pick of the Week: Slaid Cleaves ‘Broke Down’

I wish more often there were songs like this which resonate on the inside – a song that is pure and fresh. It should happen more often than not.

Slaid Cleaves is very much a poet - all of his songs weave a story with such wise lyricism. One of my personal favorites is an older treasure, 'Broke Down.' It's one of those tunes that give you chills as you follow the story through from start to finish.
