New Music by John Edward Baumann

Mr John Edward Baumann, my fellow Horned Frog, recently released a new album, High Plains Alchemy, which is nothing short of spirited.

I had the pleasure of hearing a preview of the album a few months back when shooting a couple acoustic videos for the dude. Now, I'm not sure if you've heard Mr Baumann's music before. It's off the beaten path - in a good way. It is an organic, mature kind of music that we need a little more of in this music scene:

"It is a narrative driven, country and/or Americana sound, with plenty of room to grow. But it is the lyrics that come first for me. I don’t claim to be a great guitar player or singer, but I love writing the song and believe that if the lyrics can stand alone, the music will only make the story better."
