Y'all, we've got a Pistol Annies reunion afoot. And however abbreviated it may ultimately be, fans of the super-girl group will be excited to know they've been back in the studio together.

It was in 2011 when Miranda Lambert shocked the country world announcing an all-girl-group with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, called The Pistol Annies.

The trio’s raw and honest music resonated well with fans. But after just two albums, 2011’s “Hell on Heels” and 2013’s “Annie Up,” the ladies canceled their 2013 tour and aside from an occasional appearance, and this, the girl group has just kinda disappeared.

"Pistol Annies recorded Don Williams' 1978 ACM Single of the Year "Tulsa Time" on #GentleGiants, a tribute album honoring his legacy," was posted on the Annies' official Facebook page late Tuesday night (May 9).
