Did you know the aftermath of a disaster is sometimes just as devastating as the disaster itself? Take Bastrop County, Texas, for example - home of the worst wildfire (2011) in Texas history.

We have supported evidence of non-profits not distributing funds, crooked builders stealing money, and residents receiving donations; whom did not lose anything in the fires.

And this happens all over.

Through our documentary Raining Fire, we hope to brave the controversy and negativity that surrounds the aftermath of this event, and explore the emotional, spiritual, physical and tactical process a family goes through in recovery, as well as the effect on Mother Nature.

It is my hope that this documentary will shed some light on these issues, and discover a more viable process for disasters in the future. We believe this documentary should have been made years ago, which is how we know we are well on our way to making a great and historically relevant film.

If this is something you would be interested in being a part of, I invite you to check out the Kickstarter page: http://kck.st/1nrNzbW.
