It's been a few months, but its back and just as cool as ever. Your chance to weigh in on the new music that we add here at Radio Texas, LIVE! This week the latest single from Bart Crow, "Loving You is a Crime," goes head to head with former alt-rocker John David Kent's "Until We Turn Around." Listen to both, then vote for your favorite in this week's RTX New Music Challenge.

There aren’t many guys in the Texas scene that can legitimately expect all their songs to reach No. 1, like maybe five, but with the success of the first two singles off “Dandelion” Crow is throwing his name into that hat. Both “Little Bit of Luck” (2012) and “Dandelion” (2013) reached the very top of the Texas charts. This week Crow releases the third single off the album. Can "Loving You is a Crime" give Crow the hat trick? Let's find out.

John David Kent may be a name you still aren't familiar with, but let's see if we can change that. In just a short time, Kent has made a big impression. With rich three-part harmonies and fresh twists on sounds that channel a mix of Waylon Jennings and Creedance Clearwater Revival, John David Kent’s songs instantly feel both unique and familiar. His sophomore project "Before the Sun Comes Up" is due out in August, and the lead single "Until We Turn Around," is our challenger this week, check it out.

VOTING ENDS SATURDAY (7/6) at 12 a.m. CST
