It's a bittersweet time as we get closer and closer to George Strait's final concert of his career on June 7 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The country music legend and one of the most famous Texans of all-time is about to grace the stage for his final performance, but there will be plenty of fanfare leading up to it.

Iconic Texas magazine Texas Monthly released photos of the cover of its June issue with The King on the cover, and it's ... well, perfect.

It's beautiful, isn't it? We've seen the pictures of George with his hand over his heart as he acknowledges his fans and showcases his appreciation. It's an image that Texas Monthly immortalized perfectly.

This cover is actually one of two, and subscribers will receive the above cover in the mail, or if you order online right here.

If you buy it at the newsstand you'll get a cover with the same picture, but it has some text added.
