Stewart Mann of the Statesboro Revue Sings the National Anthem at Astros Game

One of my favorite singers in Texas music fulfilled a dream of his Tuesday (8/6). Stewart Mann, lead singer of the Statesboro Revue took the field before the Houston Astros - Boston Red Sox game and sang the National Anthem in front of thousands of fans at Minute Maid Park. And he nailed it.

While Mann won't be singing before any playoff games for the Astros anytime soon (the team's fault, not his), I believe he should definitely get an invitation to repeat this honor again soon. Well done, Stewart!

The Statesboro Review released their critically-acclaimed album 'Ramble on Privilege Creek' in April, and the new single, 'Huck Finn' is getting ready to hit Texas radio this fall. Stewart and the boys will be playing in Abilene at Bar 14 on Saturday, August 17th.
