Stewart Mann Writes Song for Cancer Patient Danny Nickerson

This sweet baby, Danny Nickerson, is turning six years old today (July 25). Last October, Danny was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor: one that is particularly resistant to treatment. He has undergone 33 radiation treatments and has chemotherapy every two weeks:

His mother, Carley, says that he loves getting cards and mail. "He can recognize his name now," she told ABC News, "When he saw his name on the package from magical fairies on Easter, he was so happy."

The only thing Danny wants for his birthday is more mail. So, Stewart Mann of The Statesboro Revue amped it up a tad and wrote a tune for this little dude:

"Please share this song with any kids, parents, etc. you think might need a little hope in their lives right now...thanks y'all, the power of social media is undeniable and I really appreciate you guys spreadin' the love like this!"
