Do you ever get the feeling that you've forgotten something? Your mom's birthday? A doctor's appointment? Basic gun safety rules during a photo shoot? To turn off the iron before you leave the house?

JB Patterson, of JB and the Moonshine Band, is a very detail-oriented person, and has been as long as I've known him. And I'm sure long before we ever met. So it should be no surprise that when folks started questioning the lack of gun safety depicted in his band's new promo pic, he was quick to set the record straight.

It’s closing in on two years since their album “Beer for Breakfast,” was released. And that’s got many JB and the Moonshine Band fans wondering, “when in the world are we getting new music from the guys?”

My pal Eric Raines down at KOKEFM in Austin has set up a scholarship benefit concert to honor his late father, a proud educator in Central Texas for more than 30 years.

Nearly three months ago Zane Williams made his full band debut at Cowboy's to an amazing crowd. It was one of the biggest debuts at the club to date, and this Wednesday Zane is back. Round 2. DING!
