Some singers don’t have to wait long at all to get on TV. In fact, these days it seems many even begin their careers under the national television lights. Others have to wait five decades. The latter is the case for country / outlaw singer / songwriter Billy Joe Shaver. But Shaver’s wait ended last night.

Boy, oh boy, was I excited when I heard this news. Brandy Clark is hot stuff right now, and she's quickly making waves and new fans everywhere she goes. Her 2013 record, 12 Stories, is spreading like wildfire with her edgy and dark humor -- not unlike Kacey Musgraves, whom she has co-written a few songs with.
