After months of waiting, the full lineup has been released for the 2016 Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival, presented by Tyler Ford.

The Turnpike Troubadours will headline this year's festival, which is Saturday, May 14, in Downtown Tyler.

The Turnpike Troubadours will be supported by JB and the Moonshine Band, William Clark Green, The Dirty River Boys and Bri Bagwell on the brick streets. They'll be joined by 22 of the best barbecue joints in Texas for a day full of celebrating the best Texas has to offer in 'cue and music.

Tickets for Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday at reddirtbbqfest.com, with three different ticket options:

  • VIP: $90 (SOLD OUT). Having a VIP ticket means you’ll be able to enter to BBQ portion of the festival an hour earlier than regular ticket holders. You’ll also receive a T-shirt, coupons for two free beverages, access to the VIP tent, and priority spots in front of the stage for the concert. VIP entry is at 2 p.m.
  • GA/Combo: $50 (SOLD OUT). This ticket allows you access to both the BBQ and concert parts of the festival. General admission entry is at 3 p.m.
  • Concert-only: $25. This ticket is good for just the concert. Gates will open for the concert at 5 p.m. Note: Due to our packed concert schedule, concert-only ticket-holders will miss the first 30 minutes of our opener, who will take the stage at 4:30 p.m.

Children 3 and under will be accepted into the festival for free, though we request you share your food samples with children younger than 3 to allow for enough food for everyone. Anyone older than 3 will require a ticket.

Tickets will not be sold at the gate, as Red Dirt is expected to sell out for a third consecutive year. Set those alarms for 10 a.m. Monday, because VIP tickets sold out in mere hours in 2015.
