Everyone needs a certain appreciation for the classics – those songs that inspired the Texas and Nashville tunes we hear today. There was a certain honesty in songwriting back in the day that deserves to be recognized and remembered.

In honor of Garth Brooks going back on tour, and in memory of the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's assassination -- I thought it would be appropriate to release 'The Dance' as this week's classic. This 1990 hit, according to Brooks, is about "life and the loss of those people that have given the ultimate sacrifice for a dream that they believed in."

Enjoy :)
