'I'll Fly Away,' written in 1929, is one of the most widely known and recorded gospel songs, and often has a folky-bluegrass air about it. George Jones, whom passed away earlier this year, recorded his own rendition in 1965, which is one of the most popular versions alongside Alison Krauss.

This has been an overwhelming month, and year - with great joy and celebration also comes great sorrow. Yet still, we have much to be grateful for. This new year, remember to wrap your arms around your loved ones and celebrate a new year full of promise.
