One of Austin's best bands is gonna grace the stage at the second edition of the Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival.

Uncle Lucius, masters of hits such as "Keep the Wolves Away," "Pocket Full of Misery" and "Liquor Store," will follow The Bigsbys on the stage at Red Dirt 2015.

After eight years of touring across Texas and to both coasts and back, Uncle Lucius was named 2014’s Best New Band by the Texas Regional Radio Report. Their most recent release, Live @ Grady’s 66 Pub, is available for free download here.

They are currently in preproduction for their next studio recording with George Reiff (Ray Wylie Hubbard, Shinyribs, Band of Heathens), with the album, called ‘The Light Masters’ to be released in mid-2015.

Red Dirt's next announcement will come at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday morning, and you can hear it first by listening to Big D & Bubba on 101.5 KNUE.
