Underground Music: Cold Steel Revolver

I would like to think it is my job as a writer and music advocate to bring fresh new music and faces to your attention — I use the term “underground music” loosely, in the sense that these artists deserve much more attention than they are receiving.

You may have not yet heard of the gritty, raw band that is Cold Steel Revolver, but you should take them in now! These Austin natives have everything it takes to make it to the top - the name, the sound, and especially the picturesque lyricism by lead singer Jordan Daugherty.

Now, they're working on putting out their first album, but I had the chance to sit down with Daugherty and knock out a few acoustic sessions of tunes off the upcoming album. Stay tuned for the record and more acoustic videos, but for now, let this song take you back to your own stompin' grounds.
