Last weekend's Bowen MusicFest was another success for Wade Bowen and family. This despite Wade's doctor ordered vocal rest -- he's recovering from vocal chord surgery on Thursday.

Unable to sing himself, Wade recruited his oldest son, Bruce, to kick off the “Wade Bowen & Friends Jam” with a special rendition “Sunshine on a Dreamer.” The event was a true family affair, with Wade’s brother-in-law Cody Canada also bringing his sons on stage to perform guitar and vocals for a cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Satisfaction.” The group of jam session artists all returned to the stage to close out the show with a lively cover of The Beatles’ “Revolution.”
