There is no shortage of country music in Crooks’ hometown of Austin, TX. But ask anyone who has seen their live show and they will tell you that there is just something that sets this band apart. They are infamously rowdy on stage and their energy is infectious.

Crooks' new record will be released this Friday, July 10th and it is already getting love from major media outlets like The Boston Globe. The album, titled "Wildfire," was included on the Globe's "15 Albums To Listen To This Summer" list.

And now for something entirely different: a roadhouse country-rock record with a strong Tex-Mex flavor courtesy of accordion and horns. From Texas, Crooks draw heavily on the region’s many genres, including conjunto and mariachi, coming up with an album with no obvious provenance. (“Wildfire” will be released on July 10.)

You can now pre-order “Wildfire” on iTunes NOW and instantly get their first single, Fork in the Road at CrooksCountry.com.
