"Jayton and Jill" is officially Zane Williams' fastest-rising single on the Texas charts to date. After just 10 weeks it is already in the top five on the Texas Regional Radio Report.

The song started out as a "Music Monday" song, a feature Zane does each week to have fun and interact with fans. On Monday mornings he'll ask folks for words, and he has to use the first 10 responses to write a song.

Sometimes inspiration comes from unexpected places.

"The songs are always goofy," Zane says of the weekly Facebook feature. "My Doppleganger is a Gang-banger," "Hip Hop Doesy Doe," and "Jayton and Jill" was one. [When we recorded it] I could've changed the name to Jason or something [more familiar] but I didn't want to disappoint Jayton's mother, who has submitted her son's name. Then last week after a show in a Nebraska a mother came up and had me sign a CD to her 10-month-old son, Jayton."

Zane Williams lived out a dream just a week ago and made his Grand Ole Opry debut. Links to download "Texas Like That" below.
