It's West Texas' biggest Texas and Red Dirt music festival, and for those of us who have come to expect Crude Fest to bring out all the biggest stars and hottest up-and-coming acts, 2015 will not disappoint.

This Wednesday (Nov. 12) Jason Cassidy will be my musical guest for Radio Texas, LIVE! at Cowboys. Gonna be a big night of Texas Music.

I've run into a dilemma recently... some friends who just moved to Texas from New York, are in need of some new music. Naturally, my inclination is to give them a taste of Texas Country, although they aren't big country fans. Or they aren't yet... muahaha.

Last week Cody Johnson debuted "Get Over Saturday Night" on the Ashley Furniture HomeStore Front Porch -- and hot damn, if he doesn't have another hit on his hand. Of the song, he says he started writing it a year ago in Nebraska -- and finished writing it about two weeks ago, when he was back in Nebraska.

Well, isn't this just cool. Our pal, Cody Johnson, was invited to sing the National Anthem before a Texas Rangers game recently. And in true CJB fashion -- nailed it.
