Last month, The Statesboro Revue helped pull off a super-secret surprise marriage proposal for two little love birds.

They spent the first half of the summer on a European tour; playing shows for the good people of Germany, France and more. This week Stewart Mann and the Statesboro Revue are not just back in Texas, they are back in East Texas at Cowboy's for the album release party of "Jukehouse Revival."

This Wednesday (August 12) one of the coolest bands out of Dallas will be heading east to Tyler to play Cowboy's nightclub. This will mark the third time Prophets and Outlaws have played Cowboy's this summer; and each show due to very popular, and growing demand.

I work really hard at trying to fully capture the essence of someone else's art within my own. It is such a privilege for an artist to believe your photo encapsulates their own artistic expression, enough so to have it featured on their album.

We are so proud of these boys who are currently gallivanting around Europe spreading the good cheer of Texas Music. Click here to see their latest adventure. However, this means we are missing out on some good, soulful music back home!

Germans know about beer, Cinderella-esque castles, Sauerkraut and bratwurst all too well. Today our Volkswagen drivin' European friends are learning about Texas Music.

The past two years, Stewart Mann of the Statesboro Revue has taken on the role of Buddy Holly in a tribute to the music legend's life. This Fall, Mann is returning as Holly for one night only at Rock Box Theater in Fredericksburg.

The blues brothers... or so they seem. Stewart Mann and his brother Garrett have a knack for writing smooth grooves you can't help but bob your head to. In all seriousness, this song has been stuck in my head for days, and not in a bad way.

Stewart Mann and the Statesboro Revue have spent a bit of time in East Texas over the past six months. The guys opened up for Wade Bowen in January, and got the crowd ready to party for Whiskey Myers in December.

It was East Texas' longest-running live music series.
