Texas Man Arrested For ‘Ambush-Style’ Death of California Doctor

There is now a Tomball, Texas man who was taken into custody by law enforcement for allegedly taking money in exchange for killing a Los Angeles, California doctor.  

This is one of those unusual crime stories that sounds more like a movie plot, but it’s a very serious situation that has left one family heartbroken. 

What Happen With the LA Doctor Being Killed? 

According to KHOU, 41-year-old Evan Hardman was arrested in the Greater Houston area, Ahang Mirshojae was also arrested. 

Ahang Mirshojae is accused of hiring Hardman to kill her ex-husband Dr. Hamid Mirshojae for financial gain.  

Details Around the Los Angeles Doctor Being Killed 

The Los Angeles Police Department did confirm that Dr. Hamid Mirshojae was shot and killed outside of his medical practice in the Woodland Hills area in August.  

He was found by police with multiple gunshot wounds, he was outside of his vehicle as he was leaving work.

Another Woman Arrested for Driving the Suspect 

40-year-old Ahley Rose Sweeting was also arrested recently as she is suspected of driving Hardman to and from the crime scene when the shooting took place.  

There are still details coming out about this case, but it will be interesting to see how this case develops. We will be sure to update you as things progress.
