Cody Johnson Leaves Houston Rodeo Stage in True Cowboy Fashion
The Huntsville native had one of the most epic stage exits ever after playing the Houston Rodeo on Wednesday night in front of over 60,000 people at NRG Stadium.
After Old Dominion had to cancel their set due to a family tragedy, Cojo filled in for the show. And if you didn’t already know, Cody is a former rodeo rider and correctional officer – so you know he’s a bonafide Texan.

This is most likely our favorite exit from a performer, ever. But we’ve seen him pull off some crazy stuff in his day and if you’re in East Texas, you’ll get to see him headline right here in Tyler at the Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival on Saturday, May 6.
