Ray Benson: New Solo Album ‘The Little Pieces’
On Tuesday (Jan. 21), Ray Benson, from Asleep at the Wheel, released his solo album titled 'The Little Pieces.' Benson says this album is a little darker than his previous music:
A Little Piece gives us a personal and introspective look into the man who has become a Texas music institution since his arrival from his hometown of Philadelphia over 40 years ago and shows a side of himself that we have not previously seen or heard...The songs came out of a lot of upheaval, mostly with women.
Benson has a few dates lined up to showcase this new album:
January 25th Ardmore Music Hall / Ardmore, PA (Philadelphia area)
January 26th Jammin’ Java / Vienna, VA
February 1st Grand Stafford / Bryan, TX
February 27th Stateside at the Paramount / Austin, TX
