In March, Uncle Lucius took home New Duo/Group/Band of the Year honors at the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards. And while definitely deserving of any accolades thrown upon them, these guys probably shouldn’t be classified as “new.”

I think one of the most underestimated, and perhaps under-appreciated, concepts is how much it costs an artist to play a show, whether it be acoustic or full band. Musicians have to think about not only the band members, but the road crew, equipment, insurance, travel costs, lodging... the list goes on. So how much does it cost to book your favorite artist?

We've made no secret of our love for Austin-based Southern rockers Uncle Lucius. They are, simply put, one of the most talented groups in the scene and we've also made no secret of our man-crush on Kevin Galloway's voice.
