American Aquarium’s BJ Barham is on Cameo But for a Limited Time Only
Hands down our favorite band from from North Carolina is doing something special for fans this holiday season. Today BJ Barham announced that he'll finally be doing Cameo videos for fans, and just in time for Christmas... or maybe your divorce?
Listen, I may be stating the obvious here, but there is not a single person on this planet more qualified to send a sweet "Merry Christmas" or "Happy birthday" to a friend or loved one -- or a personalized f*ck off to an ex; the latter is BJ's professional forte.
"Cameo is a platform that connects celebrities from music, sports, reality tv with their fans who’d like to send their friends personalized video message," according to the website. For example, if you’d like to wish your friend a happy birthday with a personalized video from Charlie Sheen or Snoop Dogg – for the right price, Cameo acts as the middle man."
Thanks to a crowdsourcing effort and their ravenous fanbase American Aquarium's latest album, Chicamacomico was fully funded by fans in under 48 hours. The album which, was recorded nearly a year ago now at Sonic Ranch, in Tornillo, Texas, was released this past spring.
Oh, and it looks like BJ can now add "I do Cameo" to his list of impressive qualifications that already included "I write songs, I sing songs and occasionally I yell at people on the internet."
