In 2011 at the height of her career, Miranda Lambert shocked the country world. She announced that she would be forming an all-girl-group with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, called The Pistol Annies.

The new group certainly didn’t slow down Lambert’s solo career — in fact, it may have given her, Presley and Monroe all a nice little boost. The trio’s raw and honest music resonated well with fans. But after just two albums, 2011’s “Hell on Heels” and 2013’s “Annie Up,” the ladies canceled their 2013 tour and the girl group just kinda disappeared.

Aside from a couple sightings the three have kept their plans together relatively hush. However each lady has been staying busy. In fact Angaleena Presley has a new album coming on out April 21st called Wrangled. This month she shared a new tune off it onlone called, "Mama I Tried."
