In celebration of ten years together, The Band of Heathens are set to embark on a banner year in 2016.

Fresh off the boat from the Sirius XM Outlaw Country Cruise, the Austin-based world class rock 'n roll outfit has two new preojects slated for release this year - beginning with the Green Grass EP. It will premiere four new BOH originals and a faithful cover of The Band‘s “Bessie Smith,” that features Joe Fletcher.

They will head back out to sea aboard Kid Rock’s 7th Annual Chillin’ The Most Cruise, then they'll hit select markets in the Rockies, Midwest and the Southeast. In addition, they are set to return to The Ride Festival in Telluride, CO. with Pearl Jam.

Fans can receive a free digital download of the five-song limited edition EP, Green Grasswith all advance ticket purchases. The CD version will only be available at their shows and in the web store HERE.

The band wrote the following to fans in an email to fans on their mailing list:

"Once the CDs are gone, they are gone and never to be printed again!  Your grandchildren's grandchildren will be able to cash them in on Antiques Roadshow in a couple of centuries and make their college tuition."

The EP will be followed later in the year by a full album slated for release in September. For a limited time anyone can download the title track absolutely FREE just by clicking here.
