Charley Crockett intends to record and release a new album each year, at the very least. He has made this quite clear during our Radio Texas, LIVE! hangs. The hard-working former street performer released his newest album, Welcome To Hard Times, on July 31st, 2020.

By my math, which I'm not gonna lie to you, is not my strong suit, I've gotta an eye on December 31st for more new music from our favorite direct descendant of Davey. But, you know, no pressure.

Crockett rounds out Bruce Robison’s The Next Waltz Vol. 3with a Billy Swan cover of “I Can Help.” Give it a listen up top.

Bruce Robison has struck gold with his The Next Waltz series, we are digging everything that has come out of his all-analog, straight to tape, recording studio. You'll recall that The Next Waltz Vol 1 and Vol. 2 featured a distinguished list of Texas & Red Dirt acts including Turnpike Troubadours, Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, William Clark Green, John Baumann and more. It is certainly worthy of your time and streams.

Released in November, Vol. 3, features a couple songs you already know including Flatland Cavalry's "War With My Mind," and Jack Ingram's post-COVID inspired “Times Like These.” Plus Charley Crockett, Dan Dyer, and Kelly Willis.
