Chris Stapleton Brings Sturgill Simpson to ‘Saturday Night Live’ With Him

Chris Stapleton was the musical guest over the weekend on Saturday Night Live (Jan. 27) and he brought a Grammy-winner surprise with him.

The Kentucky natives revealed the news on social media, just hours before the show Saturday night, that Sturgill Simpson would be performing with Stapleton that night. The Grammy winners tag-teamed "Midnight Train to Memphis” and “Hard Living,” despite Simpson not singing either with Stapleton on his album.
