Chris Stapleton’s Cover of ‘Last Thing I Needed, First Thing This Morning’ Will Blow Your Mind

Just a couple weeks ago Gary P. Nunn shared the news that "The Last Thing I Needed The First Thing This Morning," the song he co-wrote with Donna Farar would be featured on Chris Stapelton’s new album, From A Room: Volume 1. 

Stapleton’s record is not out until May 5th, but fortunately for us he's already begun sharing songs from it, including this song popularized by Willie Neslon.

Willie released it as the third single from his album Always on My Mind, it peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.
