Cody Johnson & His Surprise Guests Set New Record at Nashville, TX Arena
Wherever Cody Johnson goes people follow. Over the weekend the Texas native celebrated yet another Gold and Platinum Record, before breaking an attendance record at Bridgestone Arena.
On Friday night (Feb. 2 2024) CoJo surprised attendees with surprise appearances by Brooks & Dunn and Randy Houser. But not before he and his fans set a venue record for the most tickets sold by a make country artist making his Bridgestone debut.
Before taking the stage in front of the record setting crowd, Johnson received an RIAA plaque commemorating the gold certification of his Top 5 single “The Painter,” and he and his team celebrated RIAA certifications totaling an additional 17 million in sales and streams. That brings his total career certifications to 46.
