Buc-ee's Has Been Used as a Tornado Shelter 

Back in May of 2024, there was a dangerous Tornado that touched down in Central Texas causing some customers to huddle inside a Buc-ee's bathroom while the hail, rain, and wind were crashing around.  

While it might not seem like that big of a deal, for many people knowing they can trust that Buc-ee's will be open if they need a safe place to stop gives real peace of mind.
