We know what it's like to go to a venue, wait in line, buy a ticket and stand among a huge crowd to see one of your favorite bands.

This time, it's the other way around.

RadioTexasLive.com and Cavender's are proud to present the first-ever Backyard Concert Contest with Casey Donahew Band.

This is not a chance to win tickets or a meet and greet to a Casey Donahew show. Casey Donahew Band could be coming to your house, to play a private concert for you and your friends.

All in your backyard.

Casey Donahew Band

Here's how it works: Casey Donahew Band's new album, "Standoff," is out now. What we want you to do is do your own version of a "standoff," just like you see up there with RTX host Buddy Logan and JB and the Moonshine Band guitarist Hayden McMullen.

First rule of the picture: HAVE FUN. BE CREATIVE. The picture doesn't have to look just like the album; just do your own version of a standoff -- be as serious or funny as you want. And Lawd have mercy make sure more than one person is in the picture.

When you get your picture, fill out the form below and upload it. After our submission process we're going to open the pictures up for a vote. Whichever picture gets the most votes wins the prize of a lifetime: Casey Donahew Band will come to your house to play a concert in your backyard for you and a group of friends. You'll also win a $500 gift card to Cavender's, and Buddy will come to your party with $500 in party supplies in tow. And every entrant who places in the top five of the contest will receive a prize pack from Casey Donahew Band.

We know how important the picture is, so we're gonna give you a little time to plan it out. You have until 11:59 p.m. CST on Wednesday, Aug. 7, to submit your picture. We'll start voting Aug. 10 through 11:59 p.m. CST Sunday, Aug. 25. Our winner will be announced Monday, Aug. 26.

And remember it doesn't have to be fancy, just fun! However it must be a "Standoff," of some sort.

So to clarify, if it still isn't, selfies nor pics of your truck will get you qualified. You've got to recreate a "Standoff," like on the cover of Casey Donahew Band's album.

Before we get to the form, there are two things we need to tell ya'. First, you must have a suitable backyard or access to one (that you can also claim responsibility for) to participate. If you live in an apartment and have no access to a backyard, call a friend and get them to enter. If this can't happen, we can't take your entry.

Second, you MUST live in the total listening area of a Radio Texas, LIVE! affiliate market. If you don't live within listening distance of one of these stations: KNUE (Tyler-Longview), KEAN (Abilene), KUSJ (Killeen-Temple), KQBR (Lubbock), KYKS (Lufkin-Nacogdoches), KNFM (Midland-Odessa), KKCN (San Angelo), KIXS (Victoria), KWFS (Wichita Falls), KLAW (Lawton, Okla.), KXKS (Shreveport, La.) and KKYR (Texarkana), we cannot accept your entry.

So with all that outta the way, go take that picture and come back here to enter our first-ever Backyard Concert Contest!
