Kacey Musgraves is coming home, and your chance to buy tickets is now.

The Mineola native is going to headline a benefit concert called 'The Hometown Hang' at the Mineola Nature Preserve on Saturday, Sept. 26.

Musgraves, a Grammy, ACM and CMA award winner, will join Texas country star Wade Bowen and John & Jacob, as well as local artists, for the day-long event. The Hometown Hang will benefit the arts and music programs at all five Wood County schools.

Tickets can be purchased online here for $25, or they are $35 at the gate. VIP pit tickets are available for $150 and children ages 2 and under will be admitted free.

Musgraves, who graduated from Mineola High School in 2006, catapulted herself into stardom in the country music scene when her 2012 hit 'Merry Go Round' soared up the charts. Her album 'Same Trailer Different Park' hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200.

She won New Artist of the Year at the 2013 CMA Awards, but it was 2014 when she reached superstardom. Musgraves took home awards for Best Country Song and Best Country Album at the Grammy Awards, and followed that up with Album of the Year and Song of the Year at the ACM Awards and Song of the Year at the CMA Awards.

Musgraves released her newest album, 'Pageant Material,' on June 23 and it quickly reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

The Hometown Hang, which is from 3 p.m. to midnight, will feature food and drink concessions and a live auction, which will also benefit local schools. Lawn chairs are encouraged. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.

Mineola Nature Preserve is at 1860 County Road 2724. Click here for a map.
