Happy Birthday to the King of Country, George Strait!
Did you know George Strait has released more than 90 singles to radio? In fact, at least one new George song has been released to radio every year since his 1981. At 66 years young, the former soldier has nearly as many No. 1 singles as he has had birthdays, he's had 60-chart-toppers. Additionally he has the most CMA and ACM wins and nominations in country music history.
And did you know that George is in second place all time behind Eddy Arnold, who has 92, for most Top 10 records? So today, on his birthday, we salute the King of Country Music, George Strait.
Earlier this week it was announced that King George will be returning to RODEOHOUSTON in '19. Tickets will go on sale in January.
