Everyone in Texas is going to have a little different opinion when it comes to what they believe is romantic. As we all know, love comes in so many different ways.

Which Texas Destinations Made the Romantic List?

I found an article discussing the top 150 romantic destinations in the U.S. that couples must visit, although it seems like the article is no longer active. The article was looking for romantic getaways for couples, and it was fun to see ideas listed for each state, but you know I cared most about what was said about the Lone Star State.

The article included plenty of great ideas, although Texas selections were spread out and many romantic destinations were left off the list.

For example, I thought for sure the San Antonio Riverwalk would get a mention, but it didn’t make it onto the list.

Why Some Famous Texas Spots Were Left Out

Texas is gigantic. Limiting each state to only three romantic destinations makes this an impossible task. Tyler, Texas, the Rose Capital, seemed like an obvious choice, but it wasn’t mentioned either.

While it's always nice to show our partner we love them in the most romantic place on earth, remember just doing something is often all they want. Sometimes just a little something makes all the difference.

If you have a place that you think is the most romantic in Texas I would love to hear about it. You can always send me an email at billy.jenkins@townsquaremedia.com.
