Jack Ingram’s First Album in Seven Years ‘Midnight Motel’ on PledgeMusic
2009. That was when we last got new music from Jack Ingram. It was seven years ago when he released Big Dreams & High Hopes, seven years later and he's finally got a new music for us.
Old Motel will be out August 26, 2016; but for those who preorder some great merch packages will be available, including shirts, autographed records, and more.
Hey everybody! I’m very excited to be able to tell you about my new album, Midnight Motel and to be able to offer the opportunity for you to pre-order it and get some cool stuff along with it. When you order, you’ll also get some exclusive videos, some live acoustic versions of some of the songs on the record.
Midnight Motel is my first album in seven years and my first with Rounder Records. I’m really proud of it. It was inspired by the music of my heroes – Jerry Jeff, Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Ray Wylie Hubbard, ya know, the list goes on but they made some great stuff that inspired me. It was produced by my buddy Jon Randall and features songs I’ve co-written with some amazing songwriters, Liz Rose, Lori McKenna, Ellis Paul, Natalie Hemby, Mando Saenz, and a bunch that I wrote myself, in the middle of the night and on the road in motels.
Later this summer Ingram will join Hank Williams Jr., and Christ Stapleton in concert at Blossom Music Center in Cleveland, OH, and at Detroit's DTE Energy Music Theatre.
