My pal Eric Raines down at KOKEFM in Austin has set up a scholarship benefit concert to honor his late father, a proud educator in Central Texas for more than 30 years.

It's all going down this Friday (April 10), with both JB and the Moonshine Band and Drew Womack set to play the concert portion of the benefit. But wait, there's more!

In addition to the live music, there is also some pretty sweet items that will be auctioned off including a Kevin Fowler autographed guitar, Josh Abbott meet and greets, Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball tickets, and some pretty exclusive experiences. Click here to see it all.

The man being honored is the late Bennie Raines. The elder Raines taught Auto Mechanics at Belton High School for 34 years, and you're invited to join his son at Schoepf's Old Time Pit BBQ this Friday.

It'll be a good time and a great cause. Concert tickets are just $10 and ALL proceeds go to raising money for an annual Auto Technology Scholarship.
