John Evans Band Mourns Loss of Daughter and Merch Girl

John Evans, from the John Evans Band, and wife Stacie Bolyard are mourning the loss of their daughter Abbie Evans this week to a rare skin disease, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

It is with the heaviest of hearts and tears running down our cheeks that we tell you Abigail passed away on December 23, 2013. She was truly a bright light and we know she is shining wherever she may be. Our thoughts and love are with Abbie’s family during this unimaginably difficult time.

Many of you have been asking how you can help, so we have dedicated this page to collect donations for Abbie’s memorial service. We know how many lives Abbie has touched and how many people love her, so donate if you can and let’s give her the send-off she deserves.

The last few months, a documentary team has been following Abbie across Texas as she fights this awful disease, and works as her father's merch girl in various HonkyTonk venues. The filmmakers are using the films website - www.merchgirlmovie.com - as a platform for folks to offer their condolences and offer collections for her memorial service.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Abbie's family and friends at this time.
