John Prine ‘Angel From Montgomery’ Live on ‘Austin City Limits’

Earlier this year John Prine made his first appearance on Austin City Limits in nearly fourteen years. His episode will air on Saturday (October 13) night. The last time the legend performed at ACL was way back in 2005.

"Enjoy this bonus web-only track not included in the broadcast episode," ACL posted on the YouTube video. "John Prine's episode premieres October 13, 2018 on PBS."

One of the several songs Prine sang on his return was "Angel From Montgomery."  He dedicated this particular performance to Bonnie Raitt. You may recall that Prine wrote the song but several artists have covered the tune, including Raitt in 1974.
