Josh Ward to Headline First-Ever Spirit of Texas Country
Josh Ward released his third album Promises in June 2012. The album's first radio single “Get Away” reached No. 18 on the Texas Regional Radio Chart – a VERY respectable debut.
But Ward was just getting started.
His second single “Rainout Hangout,” was a hit, peaking inside the Top 5. His third radio release “Sent Me You,” became his very first No. 1 on both the Texas Regional Radio Report and The Texas Music Chart in April 2013.
Ward and the boys it followed with another No. 1, “Promises,” which topped the Texas charts in September 2013. “Hard Whiskey” became his third chart-topper in early 2014. And earlier this year, he topped the Texas chart with one of our favorite singles in 2016, "Whiskey and Whitley".
"Somewhere Between Right and Wrong," Ward's current single is climbing up the Texas chart as you read this.
On Friday, August 26th, Josh Ward returns to East Texas for the first-ever Spirit of Texas Country concert at KE Bushman's. Also performing that night Kirk Baxley, and Chris Colston. Make plans to be there, and we'll see you out there.
