Kacey Musgraves Debuts New Hair Color

Is Kacey Musgraves’ hair really newsworthy?

I say yes, yes it is!

This is Texas and we ladies take our hair game very seriously.

If you follow her on Instagram, you already know that Miss Musgraves loves all things glitter, fringe and the color purple -- but does that go for her hair too?

Kacey hopped on her account Tuesday, August 18th to reveal a new hair color: lavender. Maybe it is a wig, maybe she is just getting ready for Easter early or maybe she has been spending too much time with Katy Perry.

I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Meanwhile in non hair news, Kacey Mugraves is contributing to a new compilation album featuring covers of Disney movie classics. She is taking on “A Spoonful Of Sugar” from the movie Mary Poppins. The project titled "We Love Disney" will be released on October 30th.

And remember, in September the Grammy winner heads home to East Texas for her first-ever "Hometown Hang."
