At just 21-years-old, Kolby Cooper is a rising star in the Texas Scene. The young East Texas native is racking up Spotify streams like he's been at it for a decade or more.

Cooper released his latest album, Good Ones Never Last, just last month. The project features "Diamond Rings and Cocaine," "Tired," and his Tom Petty tribute, "Tom Petty."

Kolby was recently invited to talk to Coach Harper's 4th grade class at Bosqueville Elementary, and to sing a few songs and talk with the kids about being a songwriter and singer -- and he jumped at the opportunity.

"It was awesome getting to go into a room of 4th grade kids, who actually cared and wanted to hear about the music. It was an absolute blast."
