When most people think about Texas, they don’t think about cold temperatures and snowfall. While we know that snow can come down anywhere, most people think about Texas and the extreme heat during the summer months and the humidity that often accompanies that brutal heat in the summertime.

It was just a few years ago now that Snowpocalypse hit Texas leaving lots of people without power, but that is not the only time Texas has seen snow.

The weather is so unpredictable, even when our phones are telling us that the weather looks beautiful, things can change so quickly. It is always good to be prepared for the weather to change quickly.

Having lived in colder areas of the country before, I love the warm weather that Texas brings, but when Texas does see snow, it makes things very difficult as drivers are not used to the very slippery road surface.
